Happy Birthday Micah

Happy 2nd Birthday Micah boy! You've added a whole new perspective to our family. I'm still getting used to this whole boy thing, I'm not used to all the cars, trucks, balls and throwing anything and everything you can get your little paws on! We love you and are happy your part of our family. Happy Birthday! XOXOXOXOXO

I'm so happy to see this week come to an end! We've been busy with piano recitals, baseball games, team pictures, Maren finishing her first year of preschool, swim day, awards, teacher gifts chasing Micah, AND the last day of school. Let summer begin....

Eagle Award

Hatalee was so excited when she came home from school today- she could hardly wait to show me her award from school. Her teacher chose her for the "Rees Eagle Award" for being such a great student! She was thrilled!

Happy Mothers Day

Yesterday we had my mom and Nathans mom over for Mothers Day lunch. The kids think it's such a treat to have "both Gammas" over at the same time. I hope they both had a Happy Mothers Day and know how much we love and appreciate them in our lives. Happy Mothers Day- we love you both dearly!

Who Knew?

Apparently toy trucks serve dual purposes, not only are they fun to play with but they are excellent eating utensils as well. Who knew?

Marens Idea....

Maren woke me up at 7:00 this morning saying she wanted to get her ears pierced today. Sure, we can do that- thinking she would forget about it. On no, she didn't forget and kept bugging me about it. So we headed over the mall and picked up Grandma on the way for support. Which I'm glad we did, she had the idea of piercing both ears at the same time incase she got one done and didn't want the other! After the initial shock of pain, some tears (and a purple sucker) she's pretty proud of her new look!
