Happy Birthday Hatalee!

Hatalee was just complaining it didn't feel like her birthday because there was no snow! She got her snow and the day off of school, what more could you ask for? Happy Birthday Hatee Bug!

Fisher Towers

The kids were mad about not spending Fall Break in Moab, so we headed south and spent the last warm weekend in the sun.
No matter how many times we visit Moab there's always something new to do. Brian took us to Fisher Towers to hike around and take in the scenery.

Birthday Girl!

Our Hippie Girl turned 7 this week and she partied to prove it! The day of her birthday we ate at Brick Oven and Maren gladly stood on the chair so she could be serenaded. The next day she had a friend party, then a class birthday spotlight, and Saturday night we had all the family over for a Halloween Birthday Bash. Now today she is home throwing up, I guess that's what happens when you have a week long Birthday Celebration! Happy Birthday Wild Child!

TOU Logan Marathon 2010

We Did It!!!! This past weekend my friend Addie and myself ran the Logan marathon. It feels so good to have it over and behind us. I couldn't have done it without Addie, and the support of Nathan and my family. They were so great to have there at the finish and running along with us. I love you all! Thanks for helping me accomplish 26.2 miles.

Back To School

First Day of Preschool. First day of 1st Grade and 5th Grade.

To be honest, I really was sad to see summer come to an end. But since school has started I've really enjoyed the quiet, and not having the constant fighting and bickering between the girls. It's been quite enjoyable. Micah is a great errand buddy, as long as he has some sort of weapon with him in the car he's good to go.

San Juan 2010

We missed the last week of school and floated the San Juan River instead. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, the company was entertaining, and the kids loved it. It was Micah's first river trip, he did great. He enjoyed every last minute with the boys shooting guns and making gun noises ( I still think it's a trait boys are born with). Maren lost a tooth the first day- I told her the tooth fairy didn't know how to find us. Luckily she came once we got home.

Our River guide. He did a great job. No one popped out over Goverment Rapid.
The girls in the kayak.

Ty and Todd kept pressuring Hatalee to jump off, she was hesitant. But once she saw Rowan go she had to do it, not once but twice.

Our camp at Ross Rapid.

The kids couldn't get enough of playing in the mud.

Father/Daughter Date

The Elementary School held a Father/Daughter Royal Ball. The girls dressed up, I ordered flowers and we talked Grandpa Richard into coming, so everyone had a dancing partner.

Freezing in Moab

It was a cold weekend in Moab... We hiked around..

Micah's favorite part was finding Dinosaur tracks.

We threw rocks over the bridge.
Carrying rocks to the bridge.

The kids loved playing on the ice at Kens Lake.
