The Witches are here...
This has to be my favorite time of year- the weather, the smells, the leaves changing, I love it all. The kids had the day off of school so we went to Gardner Village to see the Witches. They are so funny and the kids love taking pictures with them. We walked around, enjoyed the perfect weather, devoured some bakery items, and spent a little money on the shops. Witchy Elvira and the girls.
Hurry and take the picture before you get hit with the pumpkin sword!
Micah loved the spiders crawling all over the witches.
After a long day of Witch Hunting.
My favorite find- we found a little shop selling all of these Ann Taintor magnets. We were laughing so hard at all of them, I finally picked this one to purchase. Nathan loves it!

Logan 5K
This weekend was the Top of Utah Marathon and 5K run. Todd and Ash ran in the marathon, so we thought we'd go up and watch them and run the 5K. We had so much fun running together, and are so amazed at Todd and Ash's accomplishment. Team Murdock
The Marathoners, Todd and Ash.
Waiting for Todd and Ash to come across the finish line.
Hatalee ran the 5K with us and placed 1st in her age division.
We had such a great time in Logan, the weather was perfect, the leaves were changing in the canyon. It was beautiful. Maybe Team Murdock should attempt it next year? Maybe the half...

Spanish Fork 5K
Hatalee and her friend Megan who ran with her.
Saturday morning Hatalee and I ran in the Spanish Fork 5K with a couple of friends. Hatalee took 3rd place in her age division, won a $50.00 gift card to Target, and I won a new MP3 Player. It was a good experience and I am so proud of Hatalee for finishing. She was so excited to receive her 3rd place ribbon and the gift card of course. Now she just can't decide how to spend it.

Labor Day
We thought it would be fun to take the kids on the Heber Creeper for Labor Day, so we drove up to Heber but we were too late. We missed the train and got to wave to everyone as they pulled away. We walked around, let Micah look at the "Choos" took a few pictures and left.
We did find the new Monument they just put up about one of my relatives, Joseph Stacy Murdock and the Peace Treaty he signed with Indian Chief Tabby August 20, 1867.
We went for ice cream, played at the park, and called it a day. Maybe we'll catch the train next time...
