Pumpkin Picking and Consuming Cookies

Alina and her boys came up to visit this week since the kids were out of school for Fall Break. We always have such big plans to conquer as much as possible when they come, and after it's all over we're always exhausted and didn't do everything we wanted. The kids are just happy being together and playing at Grandmas, but we did squeeze in some fun activities- Grandma made sugar cookies and we helped frost, decorate and of course eat them!

Micah just enjoying some chili cheese and chips while the rest of us frosted cookies.
An early birthday gift for Maren, from Aunt Alina.
After driving for an hour and a half to get to Santaquin (don't ask) we finally made it to the pumpkin patch. We got to take a tractor ride to the patch and pick our own pumpkins.
The night before we tie-dyed all of the kids orange pumpkin shirts. Nathan said it was cruel and embarassing to make all of kids wear the same thing. They loved it.

They are all so cute. Mom did not say she was making cookies this weekend when I was trying to decided whether to come down or not. Now I am sad that I missed it. It looks like a ton of fun!

And I love MarBears present, fits her perfectly!
