Maren woke me up at 7:00 this morning saying she wanted to get her ears pierced today. Sure, we can do that- thinking she would forget about it. On no, she didn't forget and kept bugging me about it. So we headed over the mall and picked up Grandma on the way for support. Which I'm glad we did, she had the idea of piercing both ears at the same time incase she got one done and didn't want the other! After the initial shock of pain, some tears (and a purple sucker) she's pretty proud of her new look!

Maren,
I'm so glad I got to go with you and Hatalee to the mall today. You were such a brave girl to hold so still while they pierced your ears. Now you and Hatalee can share earrings. Hatalee is such a good big sister and was so excited for you today as well. Now both of your ears will sparkle! Love Grandma
That is too cute. Grace got hers done over Spring Break. That is great that they did both ears at the same time. Grace's were done one at a time and she was so scared on the second one. But Grace figured beauty was worth a little pain.

Wow, I read the post to Sedona and thought she'd want earrings now too, but she couldn't get over the idea that it hurt Maren and made her cry. She was pretty worried about her. What a fun outing. I remember my grandma went with me too and bought me special sparkly earrings.
Mar-Bear you look so cute! I can't wait to see them.
Zow, Zow! How brave! I would have loved to see a picture of the double piercing!

Miranda- Hey cute blog! I'm so glad you left a comment on mine. It was so fun to see your cute kids and family. Now, I get to see what you're up to. :) Love the ear pierce story. I'm not looking forward to that day- My daughter's been begging for a year already. I told her when she was 8. So I'll be hearing about it for awhile. :)
How cute! I was ready to pierce Bre's last year for her Birthday, but I didn't follow through. She's not asking, so I'm not reminding her. Maybe this year?
Oh Maren! You look beautiful! I remember when I got mine pierced, I was 4! It was scary, and it hurt but you got it done in half the time:)
