Spring Break 2008

Hatalee and Rowan breaking in our new raft- floating the Moab Daily Run.
Sedona, Hatalee and Maren splashing in the fountains at Thanksgiving Point.

The only flowers in bloom at the Tulip Festival.
The kids loved the water slide at our Hotel in Moab, they couldn't get enough of it!
Even Micah went down with some help.
This year the kids had a whole week off for Spring Break- we tried to keep busy and do something everyday. We hit Thanksgiving Point to see the tulips, but no tulips were out! So the kids played in the fountains and got sunburned. We ate lunch at Costa Vida, went to the blowup playground Jumpin Jacks and the library! Friday we left for Moab to try out the new boat, but I think the kids favorite part was the hotel pool and it's slide!! I'm glad the week is over and everyone is back in school and schedules (for a couple more weeks anyway).

Happy Birthday Dad, I love helping you build things in the backyard. I had fun when we went on the raft ride with the cousins. I liked helping you oar the boat. Thanks for being a fun Dad, I love you! XOXOXO Love, Hatee

Dad, I liked your birthday cake. I like to go and get suckers with you at the gas station by Grandma Zoey's house. I love you being a good Dad and Happy Birthday. Me and Hatalee like to wrestle with you. I love you. Love, Maren.

Happy Birthday Dad

"If you could hie to Kolob In the twinkling of an eye,

And then continue onward With that same speed to fly,

Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,

Find out the generation where Gods began to be?"

Whenever I hear this song it reminds me of my Father- we wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday and let you know how much love we have for you. We're so happy your here with us and cherish every minute we have to spend with you!

Micah and "Pa"

Micah has taken quite a liking to his "Pa". He won't leave his sight when he is around. He just points and says"Pa, Pa". When we went to the Zoo, Micah made Dad pack him around the entire day and ride the train again and again with him. He loves his "Pa", and they've become quite the duo.
